Guo Xiaofeng (Frieda) is a Shanghai-born photographer. She was educated in China where she earned a bachelor degree. After working in Shanghai for almost four years, Frieda resigned her steady job and moved to Barcelona to encounter a new meaning of her life.

She took up her studies. First, she attended a Master on Sports Journalism at the University of Pompeu Fabra. After that, she joined Elisava to study photography, her passion. She has always dreamt of becoming a photographer after she received her first film camera from her grandfather at the age of eight.

Frieda made her breakthrough to the field of professional photography with her two first exhibitions in Pati Llimona and Can Framis Museum in Barcelona. She has always been eager to try out different types of photography. She has recently started “I do not”, a long-term project “I do not” on people who are on the age of marriage according to Chinese standards. Therefore she went back to her hometown to make more photos and interviews.

Besides that, Frieda keeps combining sports and photograph. She regularly shoots some matches and games in different sports fields, especially tennis matches.
